Sam Ozturk is a partner at ASAP Lawyers and was admitted to legal practice in 2012. Sam takes pride in being a trusted advisor to his client’s and regularly accepts instructions to institute and defend proceedings as well as providing general commercial advice to his business clients. Such advice typically includes areas of property purchase and sales, leases, employment matters, purchase and sale of businesses and commercial agreements.
Sam leads ASAP Lawyers’ litigation and dispute resolution practice and has extensive experience in both civil and criminal litigation. Sam takes a methodical and pragmatic approach to cases and utilizes his skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients. Where a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, Sam is always ready to fight for his clients’ rights and to prosecute their case with patience, determination and passion. Sam has helped many clients, including individuals and businesses, navigate their way through the legal system in difficult and stressful cases. Sam regularly acts for executors of estates and beneficiaries in contested wills claims in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Sam has also developed a particular expertise in the education sector law and administrative law, particularly in the area of appealing decisions by regulatory bodies before Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. In addition, Sam has successfully represented various Registered Training Organisations in appeals of decisions by regulatory bodies such as Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) and Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
